The CCS Digital Learning Initiative (DLI) fuses traditional classroom experiences with technology integrations - creating a blended learning environment for our students. This technology will enhance classroom engagement by providing exceptional educational experiences while leading students to become productive global citizens through high-quality learning opportunities. Solid curriculum, innovative instruction, and digital learning strategies - both inside and outside of the classroom - will synthesize to create a model of student engagement and learning.
When picking up their Chromebook, students will need to bring their signed student & parent/guardian laptop agreement (available here for download) and the technology user fee of $20 to the media center. Checks must be made payable to Shelby High School. Please have correct change if paying by cash.

Cleveland County Schools does not support a bring your own device program. Due to network restrictions and safety monitoring practices that will be in place with the county issued Chromebooks, we will not be supporting personal devices.
It is expected that you pay the $25 fee to receive a device that Cleveland County Schools will fully support and that will allow you to do all that will be expected of you at SHS.
