Cell phones should be up and away and remain that way all day. Students should not have phones out in classes, restrooms, hallways, the gym, the lunchroom or any other area during the school day.
The nurse's office will close at 2 today.
If you received a form at registration for late arrival/early release, early graduation, course override, NCVPS, NCSSM, or any other type of form, please make sure you bring it back to your counselor ASAP.
NO PRIDE AFTER SCHOOL TODAY PRIDE After School has begun. Students in need of make-up time for this or last semester can stay with an administrator in the cafeteria from 3:15-4:15 each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the remainder of the semester to recover time lost due to absences.
TODAY IS THE DEADLINE Prom tickets are on sale. Prom ticket prices will be Seniors: $45 & Juniors & All Guests: $55. Students must pay any fees before purchasing prom tickets. Please use the fee request form in the announcement email. Students can pick up the Prom Agreement outside of Mrs. Dunaway's office starting January 26th. Students must have a note from their teacher to go to the office to purchase prom tickets. No notes will be written by the office staff.

The FBLA Powderpuff game proved to be a thriller yesterday as the girls went to overtime in an attempt to settle the game. Ultimately it ended in the 28-28 tie, but not for a lack of passion and effort by both teams. And the Cheer Squad put on a quite a show at halftime. Special thanks to Mrs. Charles, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Tallent and Cool Pop for preparing their team for the game.

Shelby High is cell phone, earbud, headphone, and AI glasses free. Put these items up and keep them away from the time you enter the building until the time you leave. Shelby High is pajama and bedroom slipper free. Dress for success and to be in a mindset of hard work and engagement each day. Be on time! The tardy bell rings at 8; be in your class by that time. Be on time to each class period throughout the day.
